DrinkBox Studios has announced Nobody Saves the World downloadable content “Frozen Hearth.” It will launch on September 13 for $4.99 across all platforms. A bundle including both the base game and downloadable content will also be available on $27.99.
“When we shipped the original game, there were so many ideas we had to leave on the cutting room floor, and this downloadable content gave us a chance to bring some of them to life,” says Nobody Saves the World lead designer Ian Campbell in a press release. “We had a blast creating even more forms, as well as puzzles and challenges that make the most of the game’s mix-and-match customization!”

The “Frozen Hearth” downloadable content unearths a forgotten region deep underground where the strongest warriors compete for glory in The Tempering, a series of puzzles and challenges that will push players’ transformation skills and creativity. Pass the trials of the Tempering, and players will be rewarded with the new Killer Bee and Mechanic forms, which can be used both in the downloadable content and in the main game.
