Koei Tecmo trademarks Karakuri Upgrade, Karakuri Edition in Japan
Tokobot remaster incoming?Koei Tecmo filed trademarks for “Karakuri Upgrade” and “Karakuri Edition” in Japan on August 16, which were made public today.
Karakuri is the Japanese title for the 2005-released puzzle platformer Tokobot. It first launched for PSP in December 2005, followed by the expanded Tokobot Plus: Mysteries of the Karakuri (Korobot Adventure) for PlayStation 2 in October 2006.
The trademarks could suggest that a remastered version of the game is planned for release on newer platforms.
