Soul Hackers 2 third trailer; digital editions and first DLC details announced
Digital pre-orders begin on June 9.ATLUS has released the third official trailer for Soul Hackers 2, as well as shared new information on the digital version and downloadable content.
Pre-orders for the digital version will begin on June 9 in Japan. Users who pre-order the digital version will receive the Persona 5 costume and background music sets.
A digital Soul Hackers 2 25th Anniversary Edition will also be available for 15,378 yen, which includes digital versions of the Soul Hackers 25th anniversary music album and 25th anniversary book, as well as the Mary-style maid outfit and Ai-ho downloadable content.
Pre-orders for the Steam version will begin on June 10 for 9,878 yen. A Digital Deluxe edition will also be available for 11,550 yen, which includes the “All-in-One Additional Money, Incense, and EXP Set” and “Additional Scenario: Lost Numbers.” The Digital Premium edition will be priced at 14,630 yen and include the same content, as well as the “All-in-One Additional Costumes and Background Music Set,” “All-in-One Additional Demons Set,” and the Mary-style maid outfit and Ai-ho downloadable content.
As for downloadable content, the following type of content is planned:
- Downloadable content that adds costumes and background music from other ATLUS titles such as Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers.
- Downloadable content that unlocks the acquisition or fusion of powerful demons such as Mara and Masakado.
- Downloadable content that makes it easier to earn in-game money and EXP.
Currently, that amounts to:
- “Additional Scenario: Lost Numbers”—in which a new character appears.
- “All-in-One Additional Costumes and Background Music Set”
- “All-in-One Additional Demons Set”
- “All-in-One Additional Money, Incense, and EXP Set”
- “Soul Hackers 2 Downloadable Content All-in-One Set” (includes all add-ons at a discounted price)
Further downloadable content is also planned. More information will be announced at a later date.
Soul Hackers 2 is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on August 25 in Japan and August 26 worldwide. Read more about the game here.
