Publisher SEGA and developer Amplitude Studios have announced ENDLESS Dungeon OpenDev, a series of targeted gameplay scenarios playable by the community to help the developers gather feedback to shape the roguelite tactical action game. The “First Run” OpenDev will begin on June 30, and players can sign-up now via Games2Gether.
Here is an overview of OpenDev, via SEGA:
What is OpenDev?
Getting feedback from our players has always been our way of creating the best games we can. That’s why, 11 years ago, we designed the Games2Gether platform to fill the missing link between our dev team and our players.
More recently, as part of this philosophy, we’ve introduced OpenDev, a series of targeted gameplay scenarios that act as our way of collecting feedback from the community to help us shape the game.
Players selected to participate in the ENDLESS Dungeon “First Run” OpenDev will be granted access on June 30 to test the core loop of the game and provide us their feedback.
What Can I Expect from the “First Run” OpenDev?
The “First Run” is free to enter but the number of players will be limited! In terms of content players can expect:
- Explore the station in single player controlling up to three unique heroes. (Note: the final game will be multiplayer up to tree players.)
- Face 10 monsters across two deadly districts of the dungeon.
- Gear up with 13 weapons, four devices, and more upgrades.
- Build 10 different turrets for added firepower and support.
ENDLESS Dungeon is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. A release date has yet to be announced.
