13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim PS4 update to add new content from Switch version on August 4 in Japan

Publisher ATLUS and developer Vanillaware will release a free update for the PlayStation 4 version of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim that adds the additional weapons and English voice-overs added to the Switch version on August 4 in Japan, the companies announced.

Specifically, the patch will include the following content:

• Weapons – Adds two weapons (26 total) for each protagonist that can be used during the game’s “Destruction” mode battles. (Including some weapons that can also be used by other characters.)
• English Voice-Overs – Adds an English audio option to the game, allowing players to freely switch between Japanese and English voice-overs.

Additionally, a new-price release of the PlayStation 4 version, dubbed the “Welcome Value Pack,” will also be available on the same date for 7,678 yen, which includes the downloadable content “Digital Secret File” and “Premium Version Original Theme & Avatar Set.” After its launch, the existing “Premium Edition” and “Premium Edition Upgrade,” which includes the same content, will no longer be available.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is available now for PlayStation 4 and Switch worldwide.
