Zelda Williams and Tommie Earl Jenkins have joined the cast of the upcoming narrative adventure game The Last Worker, publisher Wired Productions and developers Wolf & Wood and Oiffy announced.
A new trailer, dubbed “End-Stage Capitalism,” features Zelda Williams and existing cast members David Hewlett, Jason Isaacs, and Olafur Darri Olafsson, and provides a deeper look into the game’s dystopian world.
The Last Worker will be playable for the first time by the public at PAX East 2022, which will run from April 21 to 24 at the Boston Convention Center.
“Who would’ve thought a casual conversation on Twitter in the middle of a global pandemic would somehow lead us here?,” said Zelda Williams in a press release. “I’ll be forever grateful that Jorg saw fit to send another battle-weary warrior woman my way, and it was a joy to lend her my voice.”
The Last Worker is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, and Quest in 2022.
