Dying Light 2: Stay Human sold five million copies in its first month of release, publisher and developer Techland announced.
The open-world first-person shooter sequel launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on February 4. The Switch version is the cloud-only Dying Light 2: Stay Human – Cloud Version.
Sales of the first Dying Light have also surpassed 20 million units.
“The success of the Dying Light franchise is a great example of the unforgettable experiences we create for our players,” said Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka in a press release.
New content for Dying Light 2: Stay Human, including “some highly requested features” will be announced next week.
