—Expansion of Shueisha Game Creators CAMP
Shueisha Game Creators CAMP, a new business developed by Shueisha Games will get further operational support. Shueisha has been at the forefront of the manga business, releasing many hit titles. We’re always on the lookout for new talent and invest to discover new creators. Shueisha Game Creators CAMP will combine the knowledge Shueisha has cultivated over many years in the manga industry to discover and support the talents of new games creators, would they be solo developers or small-size studios.
This project started with the idea of supporting a small number of talented game creators, but also manga artists, novelists, visual artists, illustrators, sound creators, and others. We support the collaboration among new creators from various genres related to game development and create unique games that can be enjoyed all over the world.
The Shueisha Game Creators CAMP will celebrate its first anniversary on April 20th this year, with more than 4,000 registered creators and more than 10 supported titles, including some that have not yet been announced.

Shueisha Games is already working on several large-scale projects that not only have creative value by leveraging the talents of popular Shueisha authors and the knowledge of Shueisha’s editors but also in terms of development funding.
A famous Weekly Shonen Jump manga artist will be in charge of the character design. Development and story are handled by a major overseas game company, aiming for global development with a focus on Japan and other Asian countries.
