EA Play Live to skip 2022

'We'll reveal more when the time is right for each title.'

Electronic Arts will not host its annual EA Play Live event in 2022, the company confirmed.

“We love EA Play Live as it’s our way of connecting with our players and sharing what’s new with all of you,” an Electronic Arts representative said in a statement provided to IGN. “However, this year things aren’t lining up to show you everything on one date. We have exciting things happening at our world-class studios and this year we’ll reveal much more about these projects when the time is right for each of them. We look forward to spending time with you throughout the year!”

EA Play Live 2021 was held on July 22, 2021, and included the announcements of GRID Legends and the Dead Space remake. EA Play 2020, held on June 11, 2020, included the announcements of It Take Two, a new Skate title, and more.
