Super Robot Wars series producer Takanobu Terada leaves B.B. Studio
Will continue to work on the series as a supervisor.Super Robot Wars series producer Takanobu Terada left developer B.B. Studio back in August to become a freelancer, he announced on the latest Nama Super Robot Channel live stream.
“I wanted to widen the range of my work, so I consulted with Bandai Namco about going freelance, and they said I could do it once we settled down on Super Robot Wars 30, which was currently in development, so I left B.B. Studio in August 2021,” Terada said.
But that does not mean Terada will no longer be involved in the Super Robot Wars series.
“I’ll be transitioning from series producer to supervisor, so this doesn’t meant that I’m moving away from Super Robot Wars,” Terada assured.
As for why he left B.B. Studio and his position as Super Robot Wars series producer in the first place, Terada said, “I wanted to be more involved in content, such as scenario creation and graphics supervision.”
And while there are currently no concrete plans for development, Terada said that he would like to be involved in the Super Robot Wars OG series in that capacity, whether it be the scenario, setting, or so on.
Terada also opened a Twitter account in real-time during the live stream. Find his first tweet below.
