Square Enix has delayed Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline from its previously planned February 26, 2022 release date in Japan to summer 2022. It will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam.
Additionally, the large-scale expansion downloadable content, Dragon Quest X: The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally Offline, has been delayed from summer 2022 to fall 2022.
In a comment, Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline producer Takuma Shiraishi said the release was postponed for further quality improvements, to ensure the game is in perfect condition upon release.
