Famitsu Sales: 10/25/21 – 10/31/21 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of October 25, 2021 to October 31, 2021.

Mario Party Superstars for Switch was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 163,256 retail sales.

Super Robot Wars 30 was the second highest selling new release, opening at 70,849 sales on Switch and 60,386 sales on PlayStation 4 for an opening week total of 131,235 retail sales.

Also new last week, the retail versions of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water opened at 22,196 units on PlayStation 4 and 20,586 units on Switch for a total of 42,782 sales.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 74,803 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 24,016 units, the Xbox Series family sold 2,862 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 1,975 units. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles continue to face stock issues.
