Granzella chief creator Kazuma Kujo shows character model for possible new Disaster Report title
An open-world game set in the fall.Granzella chief creator Kazuma Kujo shared an image of a character model from an unannounced title during the “Granzella Gathering 2: Fall Festival” live stream.
The image shows a woman from four angles. And while Kujo said he could not share any further details about her, he did say the following:
“Last time, she was 22 or 23 years old, but now she is a college student. Her brother is the main character of the story. And the story is about his big sister coming to pick him up. It’s set in the fall. Open-world.”
While the game’s content was not revealed, it seems to be an open-world game, set in the fall, about your older sister coming to pick you up.
Kujo, seemingly looking at his staff off-screen, then uttered, “Aaah, I’ll definitely (zettai) have to write an apology for this…,” indicating that this information release was not planned.
As for who the woman could be, she looks like Natsumi Higa from the Disaster Report series. Natsumi has appeared in every Disaster Report title thus far. She was 17 years old in the original Disaster Report, and 23 years old in the most recent title Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories, in which she was working as a high school English teacher.
When Famitsu asked Granzella’s public relations department what all of this meant—“Is this a new Disaster Report? Is that Higa-sensei?”—the company issued the following statement:
“We’re in a state of confusion over here as Kujo started talking about the content of the game all of a sudden during the live stream. We will make an announcement another time, when the timing to release information is right.”
Thanks, Famitsu.
