Total worldwide shipments and digital sales for the Nioh series have surpassed six million units, publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team Ninja announced.
The new milestone comes less than five months after the series achieved five million units shipped.
Additionally, the publisher has released the PC versions of both Nioh: Complete Edition and Nioh 2: The Complete Edition via Epic Games Store today. The former will be free to download and keep until September 16.
Anyone who purchases or redeems Nioh: Complete Edition will receive the bonus “Fujin Helmet,” while those who purchase Nioh 2: Complete Edition will receive the bonus “Raijin Helmet.” Additionally, anyone who purchases Nioh 2: Complete Edition before September 23 will receive the bonus armor sets “Sohaya Deserter Garb” and “Ornate Gold Armor.”
Nioh first launched for PlayStation 4 in February 2017, followed by PC via Steam in November 2017. Nioh 2 first launched for PlayStation 4 in March 2020, followed by PC via Steam in February 2021. A Nioh Collection including remastered versions of both games launched for PlayStation 5 in February 2021.
