Nacon acquires Session developer crea-ture Studios
Publisher hopes to become a leader in "AA" video games by 2023.Nacon has acquired Session developer crea-ture Studios, the company announced.
“This acquisition is part of our ongoing external growth strategy and allows us to further expand our portfolio in the sports game segment. We are delighted to welcome the talents of crea-ture Studios, whose expertise and passion will strengthen our video game business,” said Nacon CEO Alain Falc in a press release.
crea-ture Studios founding directors Marc-Andre House and Vincent da Silva added, “We are delighted to join the Nacon group, which has more than 30 years of experience in the sector. This is a great opportunity to accelerate our development and offer ever more exciting games.”
The publisher and peripherals manufacturer has acquired 11 studios over the past three years. Nacon hopes to become a leader in “AA” video games by 2023.
Session is currently available in Early Access for PC via Steam and in Game Preview for Xbox One via the Microsoft Store, and will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam when it fully launches.
