Famitsu Sales: 7/26/21 – 8/1/21 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of July 26, 2021 to August 1, 2021.

NEO: The World Ends With You was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 18,799 sales on Switch and 9,248 sales on PlayStation 4 for a total of 28,047 opening retail sales.

The Switch version of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles followed at 14,460 retail sales.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 62,865 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 22,641 units, the Xbox Series family sold 1,802 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 1,209 units. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles continue to face stock issues.
