Assetto Corsa Competizione coming to PS5, Xbox Series on February 24, 2022
A free upgrade from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.Publisher 505 Games and developer Kunos Simulazioni will release racing game Assetto Corsa Competizione for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on February 24, 2022, the companies announced.
Users who already own Assetto Corsa Competizione for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will receive an upgrade to the new version free of charge. All previously purchased downloadable content also carries over.
Assetto Corsa Competizione for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series will feature higher frame rates up to 60 frames per second, 4K resolution visuals, the ability to create private multiplayer lobbies, and updated car liveries for the 2021 GT World Challenge season.

Assetto Corsa Competizione is the new official GT World Challenge videogame. Thanks to the extraordinary quality of simulation, the game will allow you to experience the real atmosphere of the GT3 homologated championship, competing against official drivers, teams, cars and circuits. Using sophisticated mathematical models, the engine carefully simulate tyre grip, aerodynamic impact, engine parameters, suspensions and electronics systems that determine vehicle balance, as well as the influence of mechanical damage on the car’s drivability. Offering photorealistic weather conditions and graphics, night races, motion capture animations, it’s a new standard in terms of driving realism and immersion.

The physical edition will include the downloadable content “2020 GT World Challenge Pack,” which adds three cars, over 60 liveries, and more.
