About
Battle Axe is a 16-bit hack-n-slash adventure featuring stunning pixel art and tight controls that can be played in either solo or local co-op mode. Developed by Henk Nieborg; a renowned pixel artist and developer with over thirty years in game development, alongside Mike Tucker and the team at Bitmap Bureau. In the February 2021 Numskull Presents, Henk and Mike explained the gameplay and a number of the mechanics available in Battle Axe including the new Infinite mode which keeps the enemies coming thick and fast for added challenge.
Numskull Games are publishing Battle Axe with Limited Run Games distributing both the standard and collectors’ editions for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in the U.S. Acknowledging that fans of Limited Run Games want something different and unique the U.S. editions will feature brand new exclusive box art, which is available to pre-order now.
