Developer Chikon Club has announced Soup Pot, a cooking game that aims to capture the open nature of home cooking. It will launch for Xbox Series and PC via Steam in August.

About
Players will use beautifully stylized 3D renders of ingredients to create these dishes however they like, offering a fun yet challenging experience. Players will even be able to choose their own plating styles, to make sure the dishes look as pretty and delicious as possible. Soup Pot’s kitchen is a welcoming place, whether you’re a seasoned cook or don’t know which end of the whisk to hold. You’re free to experiment and try new things without having to worry about the pressure of failing.

- Become a master of the kitchen, cooking 100 different mouth-watering recipes that incorporate hundreds of potential ingredients. Follow the suggested methods or express your creativity by improvising and experimenting as you see fit.
- Play with your food! Items shout their names as they’re added to each dish, dough reacts when it’s punched, and other whimsical touches keep the atmosphere light—and it’s all accompanied by an eclectic soundtrack composed of food-themed tunes.
- Build your audience by cooking well and learning new recipes. Your viewers will give you supportive (or sarcastic) comments, depending on how your food turns out. Like what you’ve made? You can snap pictures of your best efforts.
