Next-generation Pinball FX announced
Due out in 2021.A “new, next-generation version” of Pinball FX is currently in development for release in 2021, developer Zen Studios announced.

Zen’s most ambitious pinball project to date, Pinball FX will introduce Pinball Royale, a frantically exciting multiplayer action mode incorporating battle royale-style gameplay. The game will also feature a new Career mode, challenge modes, a clan system, enhanced visuals and more. Leagues, tournaments and competitive play have been retooled to bring the community together in unique ways, and live events and seasonal content will mean there’s always something new going on. In addition, Zen will introduce original tables featuring brand-new intellectual properties, which will be revealed in the future.
Zen Studios also launched “The Pinball Show,” a monthly live stream featuring news, updates, surprises, and more on everything pinball from the developer. The first episode is available now.
The original Pinball FX launched for Xbox 360 in April 2007. A sequel, Pinball FX2, followed for Xbox 360 in October 2018, PC in October 2012, and Xbox One in August 2014. The most recent entry in the series, Pinball FX3, launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in September 2017, followed by Switch in December. The series has featured an extensive library of pinball tables based on Marvel, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, DOOM, Williams Bally, Family Guy, and more.
