A trio of new Hunters arrive on the island.Following Kratos from God of War last week, Master Chief from Halo is now available as a character outfit in Fortnite as part of the game’s “Chapter 2 – Season 5,” developer Epic Games announced at The Game Awards 2020.
Additionally, the “Blood Gulch” map from Halo: Combat Evolved has been added to Fortnite Creative. You can add it to your queue here.
Finally, Daryl Dixon and Michonne character skins from The Walking Dead are coming to Fortnite on December 16.
Here is an overview of the Master Chief character skin, via Epic Games:
As announced at The Game Awards, the next figure from across realities to join the hunt is famed Spartan Master Chief. Hunter of the Covenant and destroyer of the Sacred Rings, few are more qualified to take on the Island’s bounties and the existential threat of the Loop.
Part of the Gaming Legends series, the Master Chief set is now available in the Item Shop. Chief among this set is the Master Chief Outfit, available individually or in the Master Chief Bundle with the rest of the set. Suit up in the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor and become a SPARTAN-II.
In battle, make your landing with the UNSC Pelican Glider, a miniature Pelican carrier. And cover your back with the Battle Legend Back Bling, a holographic Elite skull which serves as a trophy of the Chief’s exploits.
Also, when harvesting, batter like a Brute with the Gravity Hammer Pickaxe.
You may have driven a car or a Motorboat on the Island, but probably not a Warthog. With the traversal Lil’ Warthog Emote, take a mini-M12 Force Application Vehicle for an off-road or on-road drive.
When you play a match on Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S after purchasing the Master Chief Outfit, you’ll unlock the Outfit’s Matte Black Style—a memento of his Xbox history.
As the Master Chief has entered the world of Fortnite, you can enter the world of the Master Chief. Starting December 11 at 10 AM ET, slip into Fortnite Creative for a recreation of a classic multiplayer map fans should be well familiar with.
Made by Atlas Creative, transport to this Creative island and battle it out in a match of Capture the Flag. You’ll be able to find the island at the Featured Hub.
Fortnite is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC via the Epic Games Store, and Android.
