Earth Defense Force 6 due out “end of 2021 at the earliest” in Japan

Earth Defense Force 6 will launch “end of 2021 at the earliest” in Japan, D3 Publisher producer Nobuyuki Okajima told the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu.

“Earth Defense Force 6‘s release date is end of 2021 at the earliest,” Okajima said. “So please thoroughly enjoy Earth Defense Force: World Brothers for a year! (Laughs.)”

A 2021 release window was previously announced, but a narrower frame of time within the year was unknown. The game’s platform has yet to be announced.
