Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 update 12 first details and screenshots, shipments and digital sales top seven million

Bandai Namco has released the first information and screenshots for its newly announced 12th free Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 update due out in spring 2021, which will add Pikkon as a playable character, as well as announced that worldwide shipments and digital sales have surpassed seven million units.

■ The Strongest Warrior of the Western Galaxy, Pikkon, will join the fight as a playable character!
The Strongest Warrior of the Western Galaxy, “Pikkon,” will become available as a playable character!
Pikkon fiercely fought against Goku in the Other World Tournament and was a powerful and reliable supporter during the battle against Janemba! The game will show his unique Ki Wave moves that you will find links with his Martial Artist-like charge attacks. Please check them out after the release!
■ New Costumes for Bardock and Gine from Dragon Ball Super: Broly!
Clothes of Bardock and Gine from Dragon Ball Super: Broly will be available as new costumes!
Accessories of Gine Wig and Tail sets will be added, and you can fully customize your character true to the entire outfit of Gine!
Enjoy creating epic scenes of the original work or taking photos in your favorite situation with Photo Mode, by immersing yourself into Bardock and Gine!
In addition to that, new costumes will appear through the game update, so look forward to follow-up information!
In the Bardock (Dragon Ball Super) clothes photo image, the character is wearing Goku Wig. Gine (Dragon Ball Super) clothes is a costume for female avatars only.
■ Introducing a CC Mascot, Janemba!
Janemba will be available as a new CC Mascot! The game will show his unique actions true to the film, Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, such as his impressive overhead kick and firing of Ki Blasts!

■ 7-Day Consecutive World Tournament Going Live to Commemorate 7 Million Units Shipped Worldwide!
Online tournaments called “Character Tournament & Theme Tournament” will go live from December 21, 2020 to December 27, 2020! In these tournaments, players can use specified characters only. The tournaments will determine who is the strongest expert of characters in Xenoverse 2. The participants of the tournaments will receive World Tournament Tracksuit (Five-Star Dragon Ball)! Character Tournament & Theme Tournament are player-versus-player / one-versus-one tournaments held online where players fight battle using specified characters defined by its theme. During the event, you can participate in the tournament at the in-game Reception inside the World Tournament Stage.

To join a Character Tournament or Theme Tournament, you need to have completed both the Saiyan Threat and Ruckus on Planet Namek in Time Patrol. During the event, you can participate in the tournament at the in-game Reception inside the World Tournament Stage.
During the Character Tournament & Theme Tournament, players will compete in the ranking by the amount of points they earn through ranked matches dedicated to the Character Tournament & Theme Tournament event.
Players who are deemed to have taken actions (several times) such as leaving the room after a matching or intentionally fighting battle against the same player may be disqualified for rewards, or his/her account may be banned.
To join a Character Tournament or Theme Tournament, you need to connect your game console to the internet. As for the PlayStation 4, you need to have a Sony Entertainment Network account and be registered on PlayStation Plus. As for Nintendo Switch, you need to be registered Nintendo on Switch Online (paid).
