The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I and II coming to Switch in summer 2021 in Japan, June and July in Asia
Western release currently unknown.Clouded Leopard Entertainment will release Switch versions of the Falcom-developed The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II in summer 2021 in Japan, the companies announced (2). Each game will support Japanese voice-overs with Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese language options.
For Asia, Clouded Leopard Entertainment announced more specific release windows of June 2021 for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and July 2021 for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II.
At this point, it is unknown if the Switch versions of the games will launch in the west. Clouded Leopard Entertainment has previously announced its own PC ports of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series that only support Traditional Chinese and Korean language options, and are not associated with the existing ports by western publishers XSEED Games and NIS America.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel first launched for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in September 2013 in Japan, December 2015 in North America, and January 2016 in Europe, followed by PC in August 2017 worldwide, and PlayStation 4 in March 2018 in Japan and March 2019 in North America and Europe.
