Xbox Series S launches November 10
Low-end next-generation Xbox gets an official release date.
Xbox Series S will launch on November 10 for $299 / £249.99, Microsoft announced.
The release date announcement comes following confirmation of the low-end next-generation Xbox’s existence and price point earlier today.
Xbox Series S boasts the following features:
- Nearly 60 percent smaller than Xbox Series X
- All-digital
- 1440p resolution at up to 120 frames per second
- DirectX ray tracing
- Variable rate shading
- Variable refresh rate
- Ultra-low latency
- Custom 512 GB NVME SSD powered by Xbox Velocity Architecture
- 4K streaming media playback
- 4K upscaling for games
While a release date and price for the high-end Xbox Series X has yet to be officially announced, outside of “November,” Windows Central reported earlier today that both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X will launch on November 10 for $499 and $299, respectively.
