Japanese Rail Sim: Journey to Kyoto coming to PS4 on December 10 in Japan
Train operator simulation game currently available on Switch and 3DS.Sonic Powered will release a PlayStation 4 version of train operator simulation game Japanese Rail Sim: Journey to Kyoto in 2020 in Japan, the company announced. Listings at retailers such as Biccamera and Neowing confirm it will be available on December 10 for 7,920 yen.
Japanese Rail Sim: Journey to Kyoto first launched for Switch in November 2019 in Japan, and supports both English and Japanese text. It is a port of the 3DS title Japanese Rail Sim 3D: Journey to Kyoto, which launched in October 2014 in Japan and August 2015 in the west. Dispatch Games previously announced plans to release the Switch version in the west in spring 2020, but it has since been delayed to an unannounced date.
The PlayStation 4 version of the game will feature high-quality images and sound unique to the platform, as well as intuitive controls that offer a realistic train operator experience.
