Granblue Fantasy: Versus version 1.40 update launches today, DLC characters Belial on September 24 and Cagliostro in late October

Publisher Cygames and developer Arc System Works shared the latest information on Granblue Fantasy: Versus during the “Granblue Fantasy Summer 2020 Special” live stream, including release dates for the version 1.40 and version 2.00 updates, Season 2 downloadable content characters Belial and Cagliostro, and more.
Challenge opponents to ranked matches for prizes and trophies in this limited-time event. But don’t worry, your Versus Rank won’t be affected by these fights.
An event in which points are acquire through battle, and your ranking is determined by the amount of points you have acquired. (Regular ranked matches cannot be played during “GBVS: Blitz.”)
Battle results do not affect Versus Rank You will get points even if you lose.
By placing in the rankings, you can obtain a special title, as well as exclusive plates with your accumulated points.
Since players are divided into groups based on Versus Rank during the event, you may be able to place in the rankings even if you are not an advanced player.
