Kadokawa Games will release a demo for Root Film on July 4 for PlayStation 4 and July 9 for Switch in Japan, the company announced. Both versions will launch at midnight Japan time.
The demo will feature the first chapter of Rintarou Yagumo’s story (Yagumo is one of two protagonists), as well as hands-on with the game’s systems such as “Syntesthesia” in which you acquire keywords to resolve conversational events, and “MAX Mode” in which you debate with the culprit.
Root Film is due out for PlayStation 4 and Switch on July 30 in Japan. A western release is also planned via publisher PQube. Read more about the game here, here, here, and here.
