Halo Infinite multiplayer free-to-play, supports 120 frames per second on Xbox Series X
Microsoft confirms rumors to be accurate.Halo Infinite multiplayer will be free-to-play and support 120 frames per second on Xbox Series X, publisher Microsoft and developer 343 Industries confirmed.
United Kingdom retailer Smyths Toys prompted the confirmation, after its Xbox Seris X newsletter page was the first to mention the unannounced information. It read:
“The legendary Halo series returns with the most expansive Master Chief campaign yet and a groundbreaking free-to-play multiplayer experience. Enjoy up to 120 frames per second and greatly reduced load times creating seamless gameplay with Xbox Series X.”
Microsoft will announce further information at a later date.
Halo Infinite is due out for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store this holiday. It will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.
