Sega Shiro video reveals enemy Sega Hatan Shiro’s true identity

Sega has released the third official video featuring Sega Shiro, which shows the promotional character’s showdown against enemy Sega Hatan Shiro, who appeared at the end of the second video released in April.

And here is the story:

(1) Sega Shiro faces off against Sega Hatan Shiro, a mysterious man that suddenly appeared at the end of the second official video. “I will protect Sega,” Sega Shiro declares as he faces the man, whose strength pushes him to his limit.

(2) Sega Shiro puts his arms through the sleeves of his judo gi, a keepsake of his father Segata Sanashiro, and fights with all his might, finally defeating Sega Hatan Shiro.

(3) The victorious Sega Shiro notices Sega Hatan Shiro’s mask on the floor in front of him.

(4) As Sega Shiro holds the mask, the mysterious man approaches him from behind. “You’ve really grown,” he says. Sega Shiro turns around in shock at the man’s familiar voice.

(5) Sega Hatan Shiro’s true identity is none other than Segata Sanshiro, Sega Shiro’s father. “Father…” the son mutters, unable to hide his shock. Segata Sanshiro then says, “I wanted to see for myself that you had grown. Seeing you as you are now, you can protect Sega.”

(6) Segata Sanshiro continued, “And forget about me already. I am the symbol of the old Sega… From now on, you must protect the new Sega.”

(7) Segata Sanshiro yells, “Surpass me. Fling me away!”

(8) Determined by his father’s words, Sega Shiro flings him away.

(9) All the way into space.

(10) “Faaaaaatheerrr!” Sega Shiro cries.

(11) And continues to cry as he wakes up surrounded by a classroom of laughter. As he looks around, his father is nowhere to be seen. Was it all a dream?

(12) However, in Sega Shiro’s hands was a belt engraved with the message, “Sega is in your hands.”

(13) Sega Shiro stares at his father’s message.

(14) Sega Shiro looks out to the sky from the school rooftop and tightens his belt, now more determined than ever.
