Visual novels Fault – Milestone Two Side: Above and Mhakna Gramura and Fairy Bell, which launched for PC in September 2015 and February 2018, respectively, are coming to PlayStation 4 and Switch, publisher Phoenixx and developer Alice in Dissonance announced.
Here is an overview of each game, via their Steam pages:
Fault – Milestone Two Side: Above (Steam)
Fault – Milestone Two Side: Above is a Cinematic Visual Novel that takes place right after the events of milestone one. With the addition of a new 3D camera system,Fault – Milestone Two aims to introduce a more immersive and “larger than life” reading experience. Follow the grand science fantasy story of Selphine and the gang as they traverse back to their homeland!
Please note that this novel is a direct sequel to Fault – Milestone One and contains massive spoilers of the first story. Play through of the first title is highly advised. Also please note the demo saves do not carry over and it is recommended to play the beginning of milestone two again as things have been upgraded.
Mhakna Gramura and Fairy Bell (Steam)
Mhakna and Sebiarno have seen better days. Their orphanage is run by a cranky old lady, who will turn the two into animals and sell them in the city if they do not find a foster parent by the age of 10. With a little help from a Fairy called Bell, they escape to Enles Land, a kingdom of eternal happiness for children, leaving their former lives behind. Here, they meet other children just like them. But little do they notice… something is amiss in this utopia for children.
Started as a project commemorating the Fault selling over 300,000 copies worldwide, Mhakna Gramura and Fairy Bell is a spin-off cinematic novel produced with newcomers in mind. Reading through the original fault series is not necessary. Styled as a children’s book with over 150 unique pages of art drawn by Hare Konatsu and animated by Saketai, music scored by Foxtail-Grass Studio, and a story written by the series’ author Munisix, Mhakna Gramura and Fairy Bell is a bittersweet children’s story about happiness and what it really means to grow up.
The story is about 90 minutes long and features no choices. Please do not purchase if this is not appealing to you.
If you missed it earlier, Phoenixx also released a teaser trailer for sequel Fault – Milestone Two Side: Below, which is coming to PC in 2020, followed by PlayStation 4 and Switch.
