Super Mega Baseball 3 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on May 13 for $44.99, developer Metalhead Software announced.
While originally planned for release in April, the developer said “industry-wide changes caused by COVID-19 have led to a revised release date.”
Following its release, Metalhead Software will release free updates for Super Mega Baseball 3, including the previously announced Super Mega Baseball 2 Team Import tool and a “major online gameplay feature” that will be announced prior to launch.
Free demo and trial versions of Super Mega Baseball 3 will be available alongside the full release, which allow users to play an unlimited number of games in the competitive online Pennant Race mode, play Exhibition games against AI, and try out the customization features.
