Famitsu Sales: 3/23/20 – 3/29/20 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of March 23, 2020 to March 29, 2020.

The highest selling new release this week was One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, which debuted at 75,998 retail sales on PlayStation 4 and 61,571 sales on Switch for a total of 137,569 opening week sales.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which launched the previous week, was still the highest selling game of the week, moving an additional 727,791 units, bringing total sales to 2.6 million in Japan.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold an impressive 282,561 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 10,820 units, and the 3DS family sold 940 units.
