Kadokawa Games has released new information and screenshots for Metal Max Xeno: Reborn, introducing the Modded MK10, Monster Buggy, and Wild Bus vehicles, Zamusa monster, and the new Iron Base.
Get the details below.
■ 1. Vehicles: A Number of Vividly Reborn Steel Companions
Modded MK10
The Modded MK10 is the well-balanced starter vehicle. It is a good idea to first select and equip a heavy cannon for the main gun, plus the machine guns and SEs obtainable early on in the game according to the monster you are trying to defeat.
Crimswan is a formidable foe that will be difficult to defeat if you are damaged. If you are going to take it on, you should be at full health.
Monster Buggy
The Monster Buggy is a light-running passenger vehicle. Clean sweep the hordes of Desert Hoppers that stand in your way with its multiple machine guns! The chassis is equipped with machine gun-type weapons that boast an unlimited amount of bullets, allowing you to efficiently explore while preserving your limited, more powerful artillery.
Dash through the post-apocalyptic wasteland with giant tires worthy of the name “monster.” The Monster Buggy runs faster and more agile than a tank-type chassis.
Wild Bus
Undoubtedly recognizable by Metal Max series fans, the Wild Bus returns! This gallant spartan of a bus is plated with iron in its front windows, as is appropriate for a post-apocalyptic world, which is not available on other chassis.
A powerful attack simultaneously launched from the two turrets atop the vehicle.
An artistically crafted headlight that shines through the darkness of night. Operating the vehicle will make you feel like a semi-truck driver.
■ 2. The Realities of a Post-Apocalyptic World: Kill or Overlook? Rescue or Abandon? Play with a High Level of Freedom
Zamuza
Zamuza is a powerful SoNs that lurks in Spider Gully, where high-rise buildings stand are lined up against each other. Since it lurks the higher floors, if you approach it carelessly, it will attack you from the skies. But if you manage to find a hidden passage, you may be able to launch a surprise attack.
You might also encounter injured survivors in Spider Gully. Whether you save them or abandon them is your choice.
■ 3. The New Iron Base: A Place to Take a Break from the Century’s End Hunter Life
The “Iron Base” is the only place of rest in the ruined land of Dystokio. In Metal Max Xeno: Reborn, the Iron Base has been completely redesigned, from the exterior to the interior, and the placements of your resting companions change as you progress through the game. Be sure to talk to them upon your return!
You can choose and play your favorite background music using the jukebox in the bar, so pick a song that suits your mood. After you rest up, you can roll out from the garage.
Metal Max Xeno: Reborn is due out for PlayStation 4 and Switch on July 9 in Japan.
