Famitsu Sales: 3/9/20 – 3/15/20 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of March 9, 2020 to March 15, 2020.

Nioh 2 for PlayStation 4 was the highest selling new release, debuting at 91,892 retail sales. In comparison, the original Nioh debuted at 75,477 sales in February 2017.

Also new this week, My Hero One’s Justice 2 debuted at 16,997 retail sales on Switch (the PlayStation 4 version did not chart in the top 10), and Winning Post 9 2020 debuted at 8,045 sales on PlayStation 4 (the Switch version did not chart).

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 57,274 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 14,925 units, and the 3DS family sold 1,362 units.
