Puzzle & Dragons GOLD launches January 15, 2020 in Japan

Puzzle & Dragons GOLD will launch for Switch via the Nintendo eShop on January 15, 2020 in Japan for 1,500 yen, GungHo Online Entertainment announced in the latest issue of CoroCoro Comic.

The game features a Story Mode where you can enjoy the story of Taiga Akashi and company; you can befriend the monsters of characters you defeat; you can battle players online or via local wireless communication; and there is a “Puzzle & Dragons Cram School” feature where you can learn everything there is to know about Puzzle & Dragons.

GungHo Online Entertainment also plans to give away Puzzle & Dragons GOLD for free to attendees of Jisedai World Hobby Fair ’20 Winter, which kicks off in Nagoya on January 19, 2020, before heading to Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Osaka in the weeks following. Specifically, the company will hand out novelty goods that include a download code.
