Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of December 16, 2019 to December 22, 2019.
Switch titles, mostly Nintendo-published, took the top 10 software sales, with Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield moving another 288,199 units, Luigi’s Mansion 3 moving another 78,903 units, Ring Fit Adventure moving another 56,861 units, and more.
Last week’s new game releases such as ESP Ra.De. Psi and Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate did not charge in the top 10.
On the hardware side, the Switch family a massive 291,485 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold an impressive 107,313 units thanks to a 10,000 yen price cut campaign that began on December 19, and the 3DS family sold 3,253 units.
