Puzzle & Dragons Gold launches January 2020 in Japan

New Puzzle & Dragons console game gets a release window.

Puzzle & Dragons Gold

GungHo Online Entertainment will release Puzzle & Dragons Gold for Switch in January 2020 in Japan, the latest issue of Monthly CoroCoro Comic reveals.

Puzzle & Dragons Gold is about going for the gold medal. Players will battle through the in-game tournament while aiming for the top. The battle format is two-person matches, in which “super realistic” monsters move about. The story mode, which is different from the manga and anime, stars Taiga Akaishi and Dragon as the protagonists. Matsuhara, Shin, Sakura, Yukichi, and Ryuuji will also appear.
