Onechanbara Origin gameplay trailer; Eva, Death Bear, and Trance system detailed

Meet the mastermind behind the murder of Tsubaki.

D3 Publisher has released a new gameplay trailer for Onechanbara Origin, as well as detailed new character Eva, enemy character Death Bear, and the Trance system.

Eva (voiced by Yuuko Kaida)
The woman who seemingly orchestrated the Tsubaki murder case, who manipulates Saki with persuasive words and sends her off to fight Aya and Oboro. She captures the hearts of Banefuls and has outstanding ability. Oboro pursues Eva to avenge Tsubaki. And her two daughters after him.

Death Bear
A bear who escaped from the zoo and was bitten by zombies. Originally known as the “easygoing bear,” it was a crowd favorite at a certain circus. However, its is by no means easygoing—it is extremely ferocious, and the intense training from the circus staff only subdued its violent energy. Resurrected as a zombie, its previous memories are gone, and its seems that it is only able to feed off the screams and cheers of humans.
Trance
In the Trance state, not only does Rampage state continue, your attack power further increases. There is also the major benefit of not taking recoil when attacked my an enemy. On the other hand, there is a disadvantage in that your health gradually decreases, but you can convert that disadvantage to an advantage by hitting the enemy to restore health. The saying “offense is the greatest defense” is no greater represented than by this attack-specialized extreme form of battle. Just like Rampage state, the Trance state will expire over time, but you can keep your Trance going longer by continually attacking enemies and absorbing their impurity.
