Kowloon’s Gate sequel Kowloon’s Rhizome: A Day of the Fire announced

Kowloon’s Rhizome: A Day of the Fire, a sequel to the 1997-released PlayStation adventure game Kowloon’s Gate, is currently in production. The news comes via a tweet from the game’s newly launched official Twitter account, which has been retweeted and followed by the official Kowloon’s Gate series Twitter account.
While details such as platforms and release timing are currently unknown, Kowloon’s Rhizome: A Day of the Fire is a “back alley open world” game set in the near-future year of 2025.
A Kowloon’s Gate virtual reality experience, Kowloon’s Gate VR: Suzaku, was released by developer Jetman for PlayStation VR in October 2017 in Japan. The original game was also re-released by publisher City Connection as a PSone Classic in September 2015 in Japan.
