Marvelous has shared new information and screenshots of water racing game Kandawa Jet Girls introducing the its trick actions, weapon items, race courses, four mini-games, and in-game shop for purchasing costumes and machine parts.

Trick Actions

By using the jump ramps on each course, you can perform various trick actions. Performing trick actions comes with all kinds of benefits like increasing your speed, adding to your E.P.D. gauge, granting a fixed period of invincibility, and more. Each team also has their own dedicated trick actions, and different trick actions can be activated by changing the stationing of the Jetter and Shooter.

E.P.D. Gauge

Your E.P.D. Gauge will gradually accumulate as race time, as you perform tricks, pass through rings, drift, and so on. When the E.P.D. Gauge reaches 20 percent or higher, it can be spent to give your vehicle a boost. And if it reaches its max value, you can spend it to activate a special technique…

Course Mechanics

Each race course is filled with various course-specific mechanics, from rings that add to your E.P.D. Gauge (required for boosts and special techniques), speed boost platforms, and obstacles such as balloons and water fountains.

Weapon Items

In addition to your standard assault rifle, you can obtain other weapon items by picking up item boxes on the race course. There are a total of eight weapon types, and each weapon has its own unique traits that players can utilize to gain the upper hand in the race.

—Assault Rifle

The standard weapon, which can only be fired forward. This is the weapon you will use when you have not picked up any other weapon items on the race course. Additionally, even if its ammo runs out it will automatically reload, so it has an unlimited ammo supply.

—Shotgun

Its has a short range of firing, but can deal great damage.

—Sniper Rifle

Its ammo count is low, which means it is not the ideal choice for rapid-fire shooting, but since its water bullets are piercing, you can attack a group of enemies that are aligned with each other.

Fires a guiding missile that locks onto the enemy and can deal great damage.

Mini-Games

In addition to racing, there are four mini-games each with a different genre. By playing these mini-games, you can accumulate points to purchase costumes and machine parts.

—Jet Machine Washing

Press the buttons indicated on the screen in order within the time limit to wash your Jet Machine. The higher the difficulty, the greater the variety of button presses.

—Mopping

Move the character left and right, and avoid the traffic cones while mopping up the puddles of water. The higher the difficulty, the greater the amount of traffic cones.

—Running Machine

Button-mash to run on the running machine while successfully catching hearts and starts that fly onto the screen. The higher the difficulty, the faster the running speed and the harder it is to keep the character on the machine.

—Air Real

Control the Jet Machine and earn points by passing through the rings on the course, performing trick actions on jump ramps, and performing bank actions over banks. The higher the difficulty, the more complex the ring placement, and the more essential the jump ramp course line and trick action unleash positions, meaning advanced skills are required.

In the shop, you can purchase costumes and machine parts with the points you gathered during races and mini-games, as well as cute stamps for each character that can be used in online multiplayer and other items. Purchase various items to customize the girls and Jet Machines to your liking.
