This Week’s Japanese Game Releases: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Dusk Diver, more

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for PlayStation 4 and Dusk Diver for PlayStation 4 and Switch are the highlights of this week’s Japanese game releases.

A re-imagining of the Modern Warfare series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter featuring a “dramatic single-player story campaign” where players will fight alongside a “diverse cast of international special forces and freedom fighters,” as well as the series’ traditional competitive and cooperative online modes.

Dusk Diver is an action RPG set in Taiwan’s Ximending neighborhood where players take on the role of a high school girl who will fight alongside guardians to protect the neighborhood when an unstable dimensional rift brings together gods, phantoms, and humans.
