Sonic the Hedgehog will appear as an unlockable character in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, Sega announced.
The Sonic character boasts “incredible speed,” and selecting him automatically changes all stages’ bananas to golden rings, complete with sound effects.
In addition to Sonic, players will be able to unlock new costumes by playing through the game.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch on October 29, and for PC via Steam this winter. A demo is available now for PlayStation 4 and Switch in Japan.
