Sega Sammy Holdings has shared updated sales numbers for its major digital entertainment properties in its 2019 integrated report.

Acquired Intellectual Properties

• Megami Tensei series (since 1987) – Approx. 17.4 million (units / downloads*³) (packaged and digital total) across 30 total editions
• Persona series (since 1996) – Approx. 10.2 million (units / downloads) (packaged and digital total) across 16 total editions
• Total War series (since 2000) – Approx. 27.6 million (units / downloads*³) (packaged and digital total)
• Football Manager series (since 2005) – Approx. 20 million (units / downloads) (packaged and digital total)

In-House Intellectual Properties

• Sonic the Hedgehog series (since 1991) – Approx. 920 million (units / downloads*³) (packaged and digital total)
• Puyo Puyo series (since 1991*¹) – Approx. 29 million (units / downloads*³ / ID) (packaged and digital*³ total, AM-registered ID total (total for registrations after IP acquisition))
• Sakura Wars series (since 1996) – Approx. 3.8 million (units / downloads) (packaged and digital total)
• Yakuza series (since 2005) – Approx. 12 million (units / downloads) (packaged and digital total) across 92 total editions
