ESP Ra.De. Psi will have a new mode called “Irori Room,” developer M2 announced.
Created from ESP Ra.De. game designer Junya Inoue’s idea for beginners to be able to enjoy a shoot ’em up game while learning and improving, the mode tasks the player with clearing small shoot ’em up missions while decorating their own room and dressing up their character.
Missions teach things from the basics of the game to what may be useful for clearing stages, but are somewhat different from the Arcade Challenges that were also in M2’s Ketsui Deathtiny: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi. (ESP Ra.De. Psi also has Arcade Challenges.)
By clearing missions, you will receive omikuji tickets, which can be used to get furniture, dress-up items, and pets. Pets also plya a useful role in clearing missions.
ESP Ra.De. Psi is due out for PlayStation 4 and Switch on December 19 in Japan.
