Yo-kai Watch 4++ launches for PS4, Switch on December 5 in Japan
Existing owners can purchase the new content for 1,650 yen.
Level-5 has announced Yo-kai Watch 4++, an enhanced version of the original game including multiplayer, new areas, and new yo-kai for PlayStation 4 and Switch. It will launch on December 5 in Japan for 6,480 yen (7,128 yen with tax).
First-print copies of the physical edition will include a “Jibanyan & Jinpei Yo-kai Y Medal,” which can be scanned in the game for something special (to be announced at a later date). The digital version will include the S-Rank yo-kai Damona.
Users who already own Yo-kai Watch: We’re Looking Up at the Same Sky for Switch will be able to purchase the new content as a paid add-on for 1,650 yen.
In addition to local correspondence multiplayer with nearby friends and family (only supported in the Switch version), you can also play with distant friends via the internet. Up to four players can play together.
In multiplayer, players take control of a yo-kai and work together with friends to battle enemy yo-kai. Strong bosses will appear, so form a strategy and take on the challenge.
New Area “Blossom Heights” and New Boss Yo-kai “Sproink”
The familiar residential area Blossom Heights is added to the game. Run around the residential area where the old town remains.
Additionally, Sproink awaits as a boss yo-kai in the bath house. Fight against him alongside friends in multiplayer.
New Area: “Cauldron-Boiled Hell” (Kamayude Jigoku)
