New Umihara Kawase game teased for PS4, Switch [Update]

First footage to debut at Tokyo Game Show 2019.

Success Corporation has teased a new Umihara Kawase game for PlayStation 4 and Switch.

First footage of the game will be shown during the “Umihara Kawase Special Stage” event at Tokyo Game Show 2019 on September 12 at 15:00 JST. The stage event will also feature a first look at the PlayStation 4 version of Umihara Kawase Fresh! due out in 2020. Umihara Kawase Fresh! first launched for Switch in April.

Today’s news comes via a tweet from Success Corporation, which details the pamphlet it will give out at Tokyo Game Show 2019. One side features the PlayStation 4 version of Umihara Kawase Fresh!, while the other side features the announcement of the new title. Here is a cut-off image of the new title side:

The game’s full title has yet to be revealed. The image above only shown the “Umihara Kawase” part of the logo.

Update 09/10/19 at 1:05 a.m.: Success Corporation has shared another image of the pamphlet. The new Umihara Kawase game side has a screenshot with four character statuses and a timer at the bottom of the screen. Could the new Umihara Kawase game be a Super Smash Bros.-style fighting game?
