
Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of September 9, 2019 to September 15, 2019.
eFootball PES 2020 for PlayStation 4 was the top selling new release of the week, moving 58,624 retail copies in its first four days of release. Borderlands 3 for PlayStation 4 followed at 36,036 copies, then Daemon X Machina for Switch at 28,149 copies. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne for PlayStation 4 was the overall top selling release of the week, moving an additional 85,207 units between its standard and Master Edition SKUs.
On the hardware side, Switch sold 51,619 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 27,437 units, and the 3DS family sold 1,849 units.
