Original costume design contest underway.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris

Bandai Namco has released a new set of Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris gameplay videos and screenshots following the reveal of new character Medina Orthinanos at Sword Art Online Beaters Meeting 2019 this past weekend.

The new gameplay videos are the same as those shared over the weekend, but this time available in 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second.

The company also announced that fans can partake in an original costume design contest to potentially have their own costume design featured in the game. Fans can submit costume designs at the official from August 18 until September 6 via the game’s official website.

Submissions from four different territories will be judged together by the Sword Art Online game development team, with the top three designs in each territory set to be announced at Tokyo Game Show 2019. The official website will then open up for fan votes from September 13 to 27, with fans able to vote for one design in their respective territory. In October, one winner will be announced for each territory for a total of four winners.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A release date has yet to be announced.
