Pokemon Sword and Shield Gamescom 2019 ‘Galar region town tour’ video message

A tour through a previously unseen town in the Galar region.

Pokemon Sword and Shield

The Pokemon Company has released a short video message from Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield director Shigeru Ohmori, who shares new footage of a town in the Galar region.

The video shows one of the towns players will visit in the Galar region. There, you will find the Pokemon Research Lab, where Professor Magnolia researches the Dynamax phenomenon.

While The Pokemon Company has already introduced the Flying Taxi service, in which the Galarian Pokemon Corviknight carries people between towns, there are also train stations all over the region that can be used for transport.

The video also provides a look at the Pokemon Centers of the Galar region. While they appear different to those in other regions, they still feature a recognizable design. Boutiques can also be found in several towns and cities in Galar. In the Galar region, people and Pokemon have worked together to build thriving industries, and Pokemon and humans live together in harmony.

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are due out for Switch on November 15.
